CLAT Coaching in Delhi

CLAT Coaching in Delhi – Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted on a rotational basis by 18 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. CLAT 2018 was conducted by Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna. Candidates need to clear CLAT in order to secure admission in BA LLB (Hons), BSc LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BSW LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes on offer at the 18 NLUs. On the basis of a candidate’s score in CLAT exam, he/she can secure admission to fill 632 LLM seats and 2352 LLB seats.

In 2015, CLAT core committee shared that this law entrance exam would be conducted only through the online mode. The last two editions of the national level entrance exam have been conducted in the online mode. Exam dates for CLAT 2018 have not been declared yet. However, in 2018 the exam was conducted on May, 2018 and the online application process commenced on January, 2018.

The CLAT exam paper for UG course admissions consists of different sections wherein a candidate’s aptitude is tested in subjects such as English, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

CLAT 2018 eligibility criteria requires candidates to fulfill multiple aspects so that they can apply and thereafter appear for this law entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for CLAT are as follows:

CLAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria for UG Law Courses

Candidates would be eligible to apply for CLAT 2018 if they have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of:

Forty Five percent (45%) marks in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/Specially abled persons categories
Forty percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/STcategory.

Also, candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2018 are also eligible to apply.

CLAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria for LLM Course

Candidates would be eligible to apply for LLM course admissions if they possess CLAT LLB or equivalent degree and have secured:

Minimum of 55% marks in case of General/OBC/Specially abled persons categories
Minimum of 50% marks in case of SC/ST category.

Aspirants appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2018 are also eligible to apply for CLAT 2018.
